My babies

So this has been an interesting year for me I don't know about you but a lot has happened throughout the year 2014. My kids are getting bigger which of course is what happens but my son Darius turned 17 this year in October makes me feel a little certain Kinda way..  17 able 17 because he has a late birthday in the state of Texas if you BDay is after Sept 1 you start school until he was six so he doesn't graduate this year thank god because I don't know if I'll be able to handle that but he will graduate next year  I'm going go crazing like what will I do without him in the house or having them around because he's going to go off to college he wants to move to Atlanta Jesus help me anyhow my daughter turned 13 .. She became a majorette this year at her school so I'm a very proud parent of both of my wonderfully made kids I love them both... Oh I lost my job and started school once again.. I fell in LOVE with Pintreset. And my first love found me after 14 years .. And that's a WHOLE ANOTHER STORY LOVES Anyhow so long 2014... 

Feeling my self

So I was going to my daughter dance recital at church and I thought I was looking real cute. I normally DO NOT wear white bottoms, but some odd reason I wanted some white jeans for that season. this picture was taking in May 2014.  I think I just cut my hair  ( which I hate that I did now Nov14) into a cute BOB, and I get it straighten.  Any way I got the jeans at Target for $24-30. And the top came from Macys. Shoes are BCBG girls, purchased at DSW.

Makeup

For the last few years I have been obsessed with makeup.. Like I don't wear a lot of it. But I love it. I don't have a favorite brand, I try not to be a brand whore. I like anything from hair store lipstick and brand name department store brand.  However lately I have been stuck on NYX products.  Now if don't know anything about their product, I suggest you get so. It's not expensive at all. I think I paid like $6 for lipstick.  And let me tell you best damn lipstick for the cost.  It stays on for a while. I personal like the matte lipstick, Aria(MLS30) is my fav. I mean it stays on all day. Normally I wear lip-gloss, but this color is rich and long lasting how can you not wear it .. I found the color because I wanted to do an ombré matte lip. I found this look on Pinterest. I went to Ulta and they have a great selection of NYX products. I knew I didn't want to pay to much just in case I didn't like the look. So I knew NYX was the way to go.  After sitting there for about 12 minutes, I got to work. I was at awe with the variety of colors they have. They had everything from Matte, Cream and Satin. I knew this was a matte look so that what I focused on(even if I seen 1000 other things I wanted to get).  After going back and forward with a couple of other colors I found what I was looking for.

Just Random

Morning Loves, 

As I start my morning (after a 8 hr shift ), I like to relax.  I guess something like meditation I like to just have quiet time to myself and think your rings through for the rest of the day.  Now being a mother if you are I know you understand how difficult they can be.  When my kids were smaller I would go into my closet and try to take at least 15 minutes to myself and just see if their prey maybe listen to some slow jazz music I just absolutely complete  quietness.  I don't know why a deal maybe because I grew up as an only child and I'm used to having my every day morning it's just me getting up and getting myself dressed my mother was already at work and my dad was as well so it would just be me getting dressed me having the whole house to myself and I used to there and enjoyed it very much so.  Anyhow as a teenager this was also time for me to go raid my mother's closet

Dear Mr. Oscar De La Renta

Dear Mr Oscar De la Renta,

My heart is heavy sir. For the world has lost a great American Designer.  For as long as I can remember, there has been love affair with your dresses.  For me your dresses are the true meaning of couture fashion.  You have change the world of fashion. Your love for women fashion has shown through out the years you have been designing. I for one have yet to see a dress from your line that I wouldn't wear myself.  Nothing says CLASSIC than a Oscar De la Renta dress. Your dresses are always known to be the "Pretty Dress".   I  have had my many of dreams of me in a ODLR wedding dress.  I would be happy in just any kind of dress with your label in it.  I swear I would never take it off. There is one dress that I just LOVE you made, not for sure what year it came out but I have loved it since I seen it. The white dress with the black stripes, a have a picture of that dress hanging in my bathroom.  The dress has pockets and all, and who doesn't love a dress with pockets. Life would be grand in that dress. I mean I would at the grocery store, at school, PTA meeting and all in that dress. Maybe just maybe one day I will be able to afford and orginal piece.  I for one will always be a fan of your "pretty dresses", may your Legacy live on forever more.

Letter Dress

From time to time I will wear a dress to work. On my day to day wear I normally would dress in slacks, or a pair fitted pants. And every now and then I change it up and throw in a dress or a skirt. So this past Friday I did just that, wore a dress. I purchased this dress online with Forever 21+ line. Now I order from the all the time but I wasn't for sure how this dress was going to look. I mean  it has all these large letters on them, and I was like oh my word.  But some how it works. I really like the dress more than I thought I would.  And other people as well, when I wore it I got so many complements.  The dress is a winner. They actually constructed the dress well. The only thing is the line under your breast, I find myself pulling it down thought out the day. However that's the only bad thing I can say about it. Tell what do you think about?

WorkFlow

I bought this cute dress from Avon, cute color, goes great with my skin tone. However it is thin. I absolutely love my leopard print sweater. It is been one of the best investment I have made this year. I'm so many different compliments on it I wear it  with pretty much everything as you see I paired it with my dress.. I got it from this store called Image.. This store has the cutest and hipest stuff.. The one in Southwest Center Mall.. (Aka RedBird aka Blackbird Mall) is the only one I can find that sales the Plus Size line.. I wore some black ballerina flats from Aldo.. Which I love so freakin MUCH ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 

Fashion

As long as I can remember I have been in love with FASHION. I remember sitting down and drawing clothes and remaking my doll clothes.  I love the way the clothes drape over a women body.  There is something that makes me do the happy dance, when I see a well dress women, with style and flare. My mother was the first women of style that I truly admired. Baby she had this Red and Black color block dress, I just love. I couldn't wait to learn how to sew to make one.

Not as easy as one hope..

So comes to find out I  am not super woman.. LOL. Which  I knew going to school full time working part time and having kids is not as easy as one thought... School keeps me so busy I have homework and sewing projects. And  all kind of projects due. Then make sure I work enough hours to pay the bills. Which I had to learn the hard way that getting a brand new car with bad credit is not the wisest thing to do.  I have may to sell my Chrysler 200..  However it us going to a good home.. LOL and I get a Jeep instead ... which means cheaper payments and it will be paid for in 2 years verse the 5 year loan on my car.. .
I will be sad to see it go.
